I met Iman 10 years ago, [when] she was the host of Project Runway Canada. It’s not that I got to work with her, it’s that I got to know her.

We spent a good three months together: A lot of time in the trailer, between takes, watching movies, joking, and laughing. It was a big changing point for me.

She’s such a smart, intelligent woman — she speaks six or seven languages — and a role model in the way that she treats people. When she’s with you, her eyes aren’t all over the room.

We went to a birthday party for Donna Karan that had hundreds of famous people there and she sat in a corner with her hand on my arm, just talking to me.

Iman is very well spoken and sophisticated, but she also has a fun, hilariously INAPPROPRIATE sense of humor.

She’s the ultimate representation of what a lady, and a person, should be. She’s real. That’s the only way to describe that woman.

She is so MAGNETIC,
you want to be just like her.
